The meat department now offers a full service meat counter. Our butcher will take your requests you may have for specialty cuts and/or will answer any question you may have regarding storage and preparation or our fine quality meats. Our meats are cut and wrapped in our butcher department on a daily basis.
Our policy remains that if there is a product you would like to have, we will try everything we can to get it in for you. Notice is required for some speciality items.
We carry meats naturally raised
- All our beef is aged 21 days (Alberta beef).
- All our chicken is hormone and antibiotic free raised right here on Vancouver Island by Island Farmhouse Poultry.

We offer a wide variety of fresh sausage made locally in Metchosin as well as sausages made in store. Also available are chicken sausages from Kildonan Farms located in Saanich.
